Azucren - Oil-Soluble Colorant

Black Oil-Soluble Colorant 100ml

Deep black in a workshop format for graphic decorations in volume.

Azucren black oil-soluble colorant in a 100 ml bottle is designed for workshops that regularly process large quantities of intense dark chocolate, graphic decorations, and high-contrast creations. Its vegetable charcoal base (E153) treats 8 to 10 kg of dark chocolate per bottle. The workshop format is suitable for regular collections, deep-black chocolate truffle series, or repeated graphic decorations (signatures, logos, lettering).

  • Regular collections requiring a stable shade from one batch to the next
  • Contrast with a white colorant for two-tone creations

Patissland tip

Tip: Mix with a spatula into tempered white chocolate at 30 degrees. The 2/8/15-drop dosage (Anthracite/Black/Deep) is more gradual than with other shades: start lightly, as vegetable charcoal is a powerful pigment.

Frequently asked questions

Is this black suitable for graphic decorations made in batches?

Yes, the 100 ml format is calibrated for producing 8 to 10 kg of dark chocolate, making it suitable for repeated logos, lettering, and outlines in the workshop.

Why does the black dosage start at 2 drops rather than 3?

Vegetable charcoal (E153) is a very powerful pigment: the first shade (Anthracite) starts at 2 drops per 100 g, compared with 3 drops for most other Azucren shades.

Can this black be combined with a white colorant for a two-tone effect?

Yes, combining black and white on tempered chocolate is common for high-contrast graphic decorations (marbling, outlines, patterns).
