Liquid airbrush colorings

Liquid colorings with a fluid viscosity calibrated for airbrushes: sprayed gradients and veils on sugar paste, icing, and cookies.

A formula designed for the nozzle

Unlike thicker gel or standard liquid colorings, these have a fluid viscosity calibrated to avoid clogging an airbrush nozzle. This is the only family of colorings suitable for this equipment.

How to use them properly

Always strain the coloring before pouring it into the cup to remove impurities. Thin it with a few drops of rejuvenator (food-grade alcohol) if it is too thick, and apply several thin coats rather than one overly heavy layer.

Frequently asked questions

Can gel coloring be used in an airbrush?
No, it clogs the nozzle. Only special liquid airbrush coloring is suitable.

What surfaces can it be used on?
Sugar paste, royal icing, cookies. For chocolate, use an oil-soluble coloring instead.

How do you clean an airbrush after use?
Rinse with distilled water after each color; see our airbrush collection for details.
