Please note: do not use this marker on melted chocolate or melted pistols: the water-based ink does not adhere to them. For these surfaces, use a liquid food coloring or powdered edible paint diluted with food-grade alcohol.

Can Bright Gold replace metallic paint in a pot?
For details and lettering, yes. To cover a large golden surface, metallic paint in a pot remains more economical and provides better coverage than the marker, which is designed for fine finishes.
Which surfaces does Bright Gold adhere to best?
Firm, slightly dried surfaces: marzipan, fondant and gum paste. It is not recommended for melted chocolate or Candy Melts pistols, as the water-based ink does not adhere properly.
What should I do if the marker tip dries out?
Slightly moisten the tip with a drop of water and wait a few moments before resuming application, as with other Rainbow Dust edible markers.
