Colour Mill Latte is a concentrated oil-soluble food colouring, packaged in a 20 ml dropper bottle. Its oil-based formula blends directly into chocolate, cocoa butter, ganaches and high-fat creams without causing the mixture to seize. The Latte shade produces a beige with a slight grey undertone, like very light milky coffee.

Please note: this colouring is oil-soluble and does not dissolve in water-based preparations (royal icing, syrup). Shake the bottle before use and add the colour gradually: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense. Store away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed.

How should utensils be cleaned after use?

Because the colouring is oil-based, simply washing bowls, whisks and spatulas with hot water and washing-up liquid is enough after using Latte.

Can this colouring be mixed with other Colour Mill shades?

Yes, all Colour Mill oil-soluble colourings can be mixed together, allowing you to create intermediate shades from Latte and the other colours in the range.

Could this colouring stain hands or the work surface?

Like any concentrated colouring, Latte may slightly mark porous surfaces or skin on direct contact. Wear gloves and quickly clean surfaces with hot soapy water.
