Colour Mill Eucalyptus is a concentrated oil-soluble colouring supplied in a 20 ml dropper bottle. Its oil-based formula blends directly into chocolate, cocoa butter, ganaches and fat-based creams without causing the mixture to seize. The Eucalyptus shade produces a muted, matte grey-green similar to dried foliage, very different from the vibrant greens in the range.

Please note: this colouring is oil-soluble and does not dissolve in water-based preparations (royal icing, syrup). Shake the bottle before use and add the colour gradually: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense. Store away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed.

Yes. Since buttercream is a fat-based preparation, Eucalyptus can be incorporated normally by mixing it in gradually until the desired shade is reached.

Can the Eucalyptus shade be made darker if needed?

Yes, add the colouring gradually, one drop at a time, mixing between each addition: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense.

How can you achieve a more pastel version of the Eucalyptus shade?

Gradually dilute it in white chocolate or a neutral base by adding the colouring one drop at a time: Eucalyptus intensifies quickly, so it is better to start with a small amount and darken it than do the opposite.
