FAQ
Can I use it on a frozen entremet?
Yes, but only dry on a set and non-moist surface. On mirror glaze, prefer the paint version and tap gently.
Is it edible?
Yes, it is a food coloring (E172) intended for surface decoration.
Which alcohol base to use?
A neutral food-grade alcohol (vodka or ethanol 90–96°). Avoid water which dulls the shine.
Compatible vegan / halal / kosher?
Yes: vegan and kosher. The formula is suitable for a halal diet (without specific certification).
Can I incorporate it into a dough?
It's a surface powder. Mixed into a dough, the effect will be diminished; prefer a paint or a brush-on veil after baking.
