How many drops should I use to achieve the Rose shade?

Two to three drops per 100 g of fat are generally enough to achieve a pastel Rose shade. Add one drop at a time and mix before adding more: the intensity develops quickly on a white base.

Is this Rose coloring suitable for fondant or royal icing?

As an oil-based food coloring, Rose is formulated for fat-based preparations: melted white, dark or milk chocolate, cocoa butter, ganache and buttercream. It is not designed for water-based preparations such as royal icing or fondant worked with water, in which it will not disperse properly: reserve it for fat-based mixtures, particularly for Valentine's Day decorations and romantic wedding cakes.

Can Rose be mixed with another Colour Mill shade?

Yes, Colour Mill oil-based food colorings can be mixed together to adjust Rose toward a lighter or deeper shade. Test on a small amount of fat before coloring the entire preparation.
