Oil-Soluble Colorant – Colour Mill Orange Sunset 100ml

Use approximately four to six drops per 100 g of fat-based ingredient for a distinct Orange Sunset shade. Gradually add it to melted chocolate or warm buttercream, mixing between each addition.

As an oil-soluble colouring, Orange Sunset is formulated for fat-based preparations: melted white, dark or milk chocolate, cocoa butter, ganache and buttercream. It is not designed for water-based preparations such as royal icing or fondant worked with water, in which it will not disperse properly. Reserve it for fat-based applications, particularly autumn decorations and warm sunset-style gradients.

Yes: when closed and stored at room temperature, away from direct light and heat, Orange Sunset colouring remains stable for several months. The larger size simply helps prevent running out during a busy period when creating autumn decorations and warm sunset-style gradients.
