How many drops should I use to achieve the Grape shade?

For a rich Grape shade, several drops are needed (use eight to ten drops per 100 g, or more depending on the desired opacity), especially in white chocolate. Add it gradually and let the coloring disperse before assessing the result.

Is this Grape coloring suitable for fondant or royal icing?

As an oil-soluble coloring, Grape is formulated for fat-based preparations: melted white, dark, or milk chocolate, cocoa butter, ganache, and buttercream. It is not designed for water-based preparations such as royal icing or fondant worked with water, in which it will not disperse properly. Reserve it for fat-based mixtures, especially for autumn creations and Halloween decorations.

Should I shake the bottle before use?

Yes, a slight pigment deposit may form when the bottle is left standing. Shake the Grape bottle for a few seconds before each use for an even shade from the first drop.
