Pro Refrigerant Spray 400 ml
Velly Food Refrigerant Spray instantly lowers the temperature of chocolate and polycarbonate molds. It speeds up crystallization, reduces cooling times, and facilitates demolding in a professional chocolate-making workshop.
Features
- Capacity: 400 ml, ready-to-use aerosol
- Propellant gases: E943a (butane), E943b (isobutane), E944 (propane)
- Manufactured in a facility that uses soy lecithin

Applications
- Exterior of a polycarbonate mold after pouring the chocolate: lowers the mold temperature, speeds up setting and demolding
- Chocolate pieces and components to be assembled (eggs, assembled structures): sprayed onto the surfaces to be joined, it instantly sets the assembly
Instructions for use
- Spray from a distance of 25–30 cm from the item to be treated
- Use short, localized applications, repeating as needed for cooling
Please note: this spray is a chocolate-working tool (for cooling molds and sealing assembled pieces), distinct from the range's Nacré and Velours Flocking sprays, which are coloring and finishing products. Extremely flammable aerosol, pressurized container: keep away from heat and flames, do not expose to temperatures above 50°C, do not puncture or burn, even when empty. Keep out of reach of children.
Frequently asked questions
Does the refrigerant spray come into contact with the chocolate?
Yes, when used for assembly, it is sprayed directly onto the chocolate pieces to be sealed. When used on molds, it is applied to the outside of the polycarbonate mold, without direct contact with the chocolate poured inside.
What is this spray used for compared with simply placing something in the freezer?
It lowers the temperature within a few seconds at a specific point, which is useful for rapid demolding in production or instant sealing when assembling structures, without keeping an entire piece in the cold.
Can it be used on materials other than polycarbonate?
The supplier's documentation describes its use on polycarbonate molds and chocolate pieces. For any other surface, preliminary testing is recommended before use in production.
