Easy Pip pellets ready to melt, for green gems, stained-glass effects, and pulled sugar.

Squires Kitchen Green Pre-Tempered Isomalt comes in pellets (Easy Pip format) that are already tempered: simply melt them in the microwave to obtain liquid isomalt, ready to pour or work with, without cooking sugar or using a thermometer. Once cooled, it produces a translucent, glossy finish, colored throughout with E102 and E133 food colorings, for green decorations without any additional coloring step.

Directions for use

  • Place the desired quantity in a microwave-safe container
  • Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval
  • Handle with protective gloves: melted isomalt reaches a very high temperature
  • Wait until bubbling has stopped before pouring into a mold or working with the material
  • To smooth or polish the edges, pass a blowtorch over them very briefly

Ideal for emerald-green gems, stained-glass cookies, decorative shards, and nature-, spring-, or Easter-themed pieces.

Please note: never allow a child to handle hot isomalt, as it may cause severe burns. Contains E102: may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
