Antique Gold from the Fractal MetallInk range is a ready-to-use, water-based golden food paint supplied in a 30 g bottle. Its combination of six colorants produces a more matte, patinated golden tone than Gold, the brighter shade from the same range.

Recommended uses
- Apply with a brush or sponge to sugar paste, marzipan, biscuits, and macarons
- Dried royal icing
- Shake the bottle well before use; water-based, no dilution required
- Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat
- Can be layered over a base colored with Fractal gel coloring to enhance the contrast

What is the difference from Gold?
Antique Gold combines six colorants for a more matte, patinated golden tone, with a lower colorant concentration (1.03%), hence a much higher maximum dosage (up to 48.58 g/kg) than Gold, which is more concentrated and brighter.
Does this paint need to be diluted before application?
No, the paint is ready to use and water-based; shake the bottle well before use and apply directly with a brush or sponge.
Which surfaces can it be applied to?
Sugar paste, marzipan, biscuits, macarons, and dried royal icing; leave to air-dry before handling.
