Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
What's the difference between this and the Chocolate Brown pen?
Dark Chocolate offers a darker, deeper brown, useful for bold outlines or dark fur, while Chocolate Brown is suited to warmer, lighter shades.
Is this pen suitable for adding details to tree trunks made from gum paste?
Yes, this is a common use: bark veins and shading on dried gum paste, using the fine tip for details and the broad tip for larger areas.
Can it be used on pre-colored marzipan?
Yes, provided the base marzipan is a lighter shade than the pen's dark brown, so the lines remain visible.
