For details and lettering, yes. To cover a large golden surface, metallic paint in a pot is more economical and provides better coverage than the pen, which is designed for fine finishes.
Which surfaces does Bright Gold adhere to best?
On firm, slightly dried surfaces: marzipan, fondant, and pastillage. Not recommended for melted chocolate or Candy Melts wafers, as the water-based ink does not adhere properly.
What should I do if the pen tip dries out?
Lightly dampen the tip with a drop of water and wait a few moments before continuing, as with other Rainbow Dust food pens.
