The Brick Wall silicone mold from Marvelous Molds offers a professional solution to reproduce an industrial loft-style brick wall texture on your pastry creations. Made in the United States from food-grade silicone, it works with sugar paste, marzipan, fondant, tempered chocolate, and gum paste.

Directions for use

  1. Preparation: lightly dust the mold with cornstarch or powdered sugar to facilitate unmolding. For chocolate, chill the mold in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
  2. Application: firmly press the sugar paste, fondant, or marzipan into the mold. For deep patterns, first work the dough by hand so it penetrates the details.
  3. Unmolding: turn the mold over on a flat surface and gently flex the silicone to release the pattern. The flexibility of the silicone allows clean unmolding even on fine details.
  4. Applying on the cake: lightly moisten the cake surface with a brush and water, or use a thin layer of marzipan as an adhesive layer. Gently press the pattern in place.
  5. Finish: let harden 30 to 60 minutes in open air before handling or adding luster color.

Care and maintenance

  • Wash with warm soapy water, rinse with clear water, and air dry.
  • Dishwasher safe (top rack, moderate temperature).
  • Store flat or hanging, protected from dust and direct heat.
  • Avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects that could damage the silicone.
