Choosing the length
- 16 cm: standard tiers 10 to 15 cm high, the versatile option
- 30 cm: very tall tiers (20 to 25 cm) or a central dowel running through several tiers
Use
- Insert the sticks vertically down to the board underneath
- Place a 12 mm cake drum between each tier to distribute the weight
- Allow 5 to 8 sticks per tier depending on the weight to be supported
- Remove the sticks when cutting, before serving
As wood is slightly porous, these sticks are designed for single use: do not wash them for reuse.
