Pre-Tempered Red Isomalt 125 g

Squires Kitchen Red Pre-Tempered Isomalt comes in already tempered pellets (Easy Pip format): simply melt them in the microwave to obtain liquid isomalt, ready to pour or work with, without cooking sugar or using a thermometer. Once cooled, it provides a translucent, glossy finish, colored throughout with E129, for red decorations without an additional coloring step.

Directions for use

• Pour the desired amount into a microwave-safe container
• Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval
• Handle with protective gloves: melted isomalt reaches a very high temperature
• Wait for the bubbling to stop before pouring into a mold or working with the material
• To smooth or polish the edges, briefly pass a blowtorch over them

Suitable for red edible gems and jewelry, stained-glass cookies, decorative shards and pulled-sugar pieces, for example for a Valentine’s Day decoration or a red-fruit theme.
