Gauge 24 sits in the middle of the Azucren range: more rigid than gauges 26 and 28, which are reserved for fine petals, and easier to work with than gauges 18 and 20 used for the framework. It is the all-purpose wire for medium-sized flowers (roses, anemones, ranunculuses) and large petals assembled one by one. Length: 40 cm, pack of 50 stems.

Tip: dip the end of the wire in a little edible glue before inserting it into the base of the petal, then pinch the paste around the wire for a secure, clean anchor. The 40 cm stems can be cut into two or three segments for the petals.
