Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
Does Brilliant Blue FCF require a child warning?
No. Brilliant Blue FCF (E133) is not one of the six azo dyes subject to the regulatory warning about children's attention, unlike Allura Red or Azorubine, which are used in the red and pink shades in the same range.
How can I prevent the decoration from collapsing under the weight of the balls?
Place the balls in a single layer directly onto still-soft icing, without stacking them, and let it set before handling the cake.
Is this format suitable for a gender reveal cake?
Yes, the XXL blue creates a pronounced textured effect for the reveal layer of a gender reveal cake. Pair with Pearl Pink if needed for the reverse announcement.
