- Filling: fold the edge of the bag over your non-dominant hand, fill up to two-thirds of the maximum capacity.
- Removing air: twist the top of the bag to push air toward the tip, close with a clip or fold downward.
- Piping: hold the bag between thumb and forefinger, apply pressure with the palm on the top of the bag. Piping should be steady and consistent.
- Disposal: after use, discard the bag with any remaining contents. No cleaning required.
Storage
Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep flat in a dry place.
Patissland Tip for Consistent Piping
For perfect piping without air bubbles: 1/ never fill the bag more than two-thirds full (air trapped in an overfilled bag causes the cream to "burst"), 2/ always push air toward the tip before closing the top, 3/ hold the bag firmly between thumb and forefinger to prevent cream from rising, 4/ apply pressure with the palm, not fingers (pressure will be more even). For long piping sessions, secure the top of the bag with a plastic clip for pastry.
