Storage
After opening, place unused fondant back in its original packaging, well sealed against air. Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, between 16 and 23 °C.
Patissland tip for SmartFlex White Velvet
For a clean layer cake covering, knead the fondant 1 to 2 minutes between your hands to bring it to temperature, then roll out to 3 mm thickness on a work surface lightly dusted with powdered sugar or cornstarch. SmartFlex tolerates smoothing marks well: pass the smoother in circular motions to remove folds without stretching the fondant.
