Choco Drip 125g - Black
Ready-to-use pouring chocolate, deep opaque black
Colour Mill Choco Drip Black is a ready-to-use pouring chocolate colored throughout in deep black, opaque from the first layer and matte once set. It creates bold graphic contrasts without having to color white chocolate yourself.
Packaged in a 125 g flexible pouch with a pouring spout, it warms in seconds and can be applied directly to the edge of a cake.

Recommended uses
- Halloween and gothic or graphic themes
- Strong contrasts against white, cream, or gold for a striking look
- Piped lettering and logos on light-colored icing for a blackboard effect
Directions
- Warm the sealed pouch in the microwave in 10-second intervals (or in a bain-marie over low heat) until smooth and fluid, with no lumps
- Test it on the side of a bowl: the drip should stop after 2 to 3 cm without running all the way to the bottom
- Apply to a well-chilled cake, gently squeezing from the edge outward, then refrigerate for 15 minutes to set the drip
Ingredients and allergens
Ingredients: Sugar, vegetable fat (palm), emulsifiers: E322 (soy), E433, E492, whey powder, flavoring, antioxidants: E307, E307b, milk solids, cream powder, glycerol, vegetable oil (rapeseed), color: E153.
Allergens: Contains: soy, milk.
Please note: warm it in short 10-second intervals rather than all at once: heating it for too long makes the drip too runny, causing it to slide down to the cake board. The cake should be taken out of the refrigerator with its outer icing already set, so the drip stops cleanly.
Frequently asked questions
Is one layer of black drip enough to cover without showing through?
Yes, the color is opaque from the first application. There's no need to apply a second layer to hide the light-colored icing underneath.
How can I prevent drips from being too thick with this dark color?
Test the consistency on a bowl before applying: the drip should stop at 2-3 cm. On black, a drip that's too runny is more noticeable than a light-colored one.
Can this black drip be paired with gold decorations?
Yes, it's a classic combination in cake design: apply the black drip first and let it set, then add touches of gold coloring or spray on top.
