Your questions, our advice
How many drops should I use to achieve the Lilac shade?
Two to three drops per 100 g of fat are generally enough to achieve a pastel Lilac shade. Add drop by drop and mix before adding more: the color intensifies quickly on a white base.
Is this Lilac food coloring compatible with sugar paste or royal icing?
An oil-based coloring, Lilac is formulated for fatty preparations: melted white, dark or milk chocolate, cocoa butter, ganache and buttercream. It is not designed for water-based preparations such as royal icing or sugar paste mixed with water, in which it will not disperse properly: reserve it for fatty bases, especially for spring creations and baby showers.
Is Lilac food coloring heat-resistant?
As an oil-based coloring, Lilac is designed to be incorporated into melted chocolate or warm ganache without affecting setting or texture, making it suitable for spring creations and baby showers.
