Green shade, Pro 100 ml size for fat-based mixtures
Colour Mill Green evokes fresh Granny Smith apples and spring shoots. This concentrated oil-based food colouring is designed for fat-based baking mixtures: melted white chocolate, ganache, buttercream and sugar paste. The 100 ml bottle is aimed at bakeries producing regularly: for the same volume, it costs around 35% less per ml than the 20 ml bottle. It is often used on jungle-themed birthday cupcakes for children, nature-themed layer cakes and garden-themed cakes.

How to use
Same dosage as the 20 ml size: 2 to 4 drops per 250 g for a pastel shade, up to 20 drops for a dark shade
Shake the bottle before use and mix into a tempered mixture between 25 and 30 °C
For large quantities, measure in proportion to the weight of the mixture rather than by the number of drops
Do not use with a water-based mixture (royal icing, syrup): the Colour Mill water-soluble range is designed for this purpose
Yes, that's its main use: it's formulated for fat-based mixtures (white chocolate, ganache, cocoa butter) and blends smoothly without lumps into a tempered, melted mixture.
How many drops for 250 g of mixture?
Use 2 to 4 drops for a pastel shade, 5 to 10 drops for a vibrant shade, and up to 20 drops for a dark shade. It's best to add it gradually.
Is separation in the 100 ml bottle normal?
Yes, slight separation between the pigment and carrier liquid is normal after prolonged storage: shake for 10 seconds before each use.
