Your questions, our advice
Can the stencil go in the oven with the piped batter on top?
No, it is only used as a visual guide beneath the baking sheet or silicone mat: remove it before baking the piped shells.
Can it be used for macarons larger than 30 mm?
This stencil is sized for 30 mm impressions; for macarons of a different diameter, use a template with the corresponding dimensions.
Will the guide remain visible through a thick silicone mat?
Visibility depends on the thickness and opacity of the mat used: a thin mat or translucent baking sheet makes the guides more visible than a thick, opaque silicone mat.
