The FUNCAKES Baby Blue fondant is a ready-to-use, soft and pliable fondant in diluted Brilliant Blue FCF, more saturated than Pastel Blue for greater visual impact.
This 250g size is ideal for trying it out, small projects and artisans: it covers 1 cake 15 to 18 cm or 12 to 18 cupcakes.
Suitable for baby showers for boys, birth cakes and baby-color palettes.

- Cake covering: roll out to 4-5 mm thick and place over a thin layer of smooth buttercream or ganache.

- Decorative cutouts: lettering, shapes and clean borders made with a cutter or smooth knife.

How can I prevent the fondant from cracking when covering a cake?
Knead the fondant for 2 to 3 minutes to soften it before rolling. Roll it out to 4-5 mm thick on a surface dusted with powdered sugar and smooth from the center toward the edges without trapping air bubbles. If it cracks, smooth it with your finger and a drop of water.
Is 250g of Baby Blue enough for a birth smash cake?
Yes: the 250g size covers a 15 to 18 cm cake, the standard size for a smash cake or a test cake before the final order.
How long can a covered cake be stored?
2 to 3 days at room temperature (15-22 °C), protected from humidity and direct light. Do not refrigerate: the fondant will sweat and become sticky when exposed to the cold.
