How to install a pastry tip in a piping bag?

Start by inserting the tip inside the piping bag. Then push part of the bag through the nozzle to form a sort of plug. After that, fold a portion of the upper part of the pocket over your hand, to form a collar. Your piping bag is now ready to be filled with your favorite mixture.

Once your bag is full, close it by twisting it and remove the cap by pulling on the nozzle.

How to use a pastry tip?

Hold the piping bag in your dominant hand (right for right-handers, left for left-handers) holding it by the knot at the top. Direct the socket with your other hand. As a general rule, place the nozzle at a 45° angle to your work surface and apply pressure with your hand to expel the preparation. The angle of the socket may vary depending on the decoration you want to make.

For easier decoration, using a turntable can be very useful.
