How do you cut this cake neatly?
The mold shape guides the knife: cut into the hollows between the hearts for evenly sized portions, so each guest gets several individual hearts.
Which finish best brings out the multi-heart design?
Velvet spray is recommended because it settles differently in the hollows and on the raised areas, bringing out each heart. Mirror glaze also works, thickening in the gaps.
