Directions for use
- Preparation: lightly dust the mold with cornstarch or powdered sugar to ease unmolding. For chocolate, chill the mold in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- Application: firmly press the sugar paste, fondant, or marzipan into the mold. For deep patterns, work the paste by hand first so it penetrates the details.
- Unmolding: turn the mold over on a flat surface and gently flex the silicone to release the pattern. The flexibility of the silicone allows clean unmolding even on fine details.
- Applying on the cake: lightly moisten the cake surface with a brush and water, or use a thin layer of marzipan as an adhesive layer. Gently press the pattern in place.
- Finishing: let harden 30 to 60 minutes in open air before handling or adding luster color.
Care and maintenance
- • Wash with warm soapy water, rinse with clear water, and air dry.
- • Dishwasher safe (top rack, moderate temperature).
- • Store flat or hanging, away from dust and direct heat.
- • Avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects that could damage the silicone.
