How can I prevent fondant from cracking when covering a cake?
Knead the fondant for 2 to 3 minutes to soften it before rolling out. Roll it to a thickness of 4-5 mm on a surface dusted with powdered sugar and smooth it from the center toward the edges without trapping air bubbles. If it cracks, smooth it with your finger and a drop of water.
Is this multipack enough to recreate all the colors for cake design?
The 5 basic colors (black, red, blue, green, yellow) let you mix most intermediate shades, adding small amounts of gel food coloring if needed.
