Instructions for Use
- Select the tip: choose the tip suited to your project (rosettes, writing, flowers, borders) according to the references included in the set.
- Setup: place the tip inside an empty piping bag, tip pointing down. Cut the end of the bag at the base of the tip.
- Filling: fill the bag two-thirds full with your mixture (buttercream, whipped ganache, stabilized whipped cream), expel air by pressing toward the tip.
- Piping: hold the bag vertically 1 cm from the surface, squeeze with a steady motion according to the desired pattern.
- Changing tips: to switch from one tip to another, use a coupler (adapter) if provided, or change the piping bag.
- Cleaning: rinse immediately after use with warm soapy water. Dishwasher safe for most references.
Patissland Tip for Perfect Borders
For even borders all around: place the cake on a rotating cake stand, hold the bag firmly at a 45° angle to the cake edge, turn the stand with one hand while piping with the other at a constant pressure. Practice first on a test surface (plate or tray). For lace borders, refrigerate the cake for 15 minutes after piping to set the pattern before transport.
