Instructions for Use
- Tip selection: choose the tip suited to your project (rosettes, writing, flowers, borders) according to the references included in the set.
- Installation: place the tip inside an empty piping bag, tip pointing down. Cut the end of the bag at the base of the tip.
- Filling: fill the bag two-thirds full with your mixture (buttercream, whipped ganache, stabilized whipped cream), expel air by pressing toward the tip.
- Piping: hold the bag vertically about 1 cm from the surface, press with a steady motion according to the desired pattern.
- Changing tips: to switch from one tip to another, use a coupler (adapter) if provided, or change the piping bag.
- Cleaning: rinse immediately after use with warm soapy water. Dishwasher safe for most references.
Patissland Tip for Neat Petit Fours
For precise decorations on small pieces: use short piping bags (23 cm) which offer more control than a standard 30 cm bag. Hold the bag between your thumb and forefinger very close to the tip for maximum precision. Work at a cool temperature (lab or kitchen at 18-20 °C): small pieces have low thermal inertia and buttercream melts quickly on contact with warm fingers.
