Colour Mill Melon Oil-Based Food Coloring 100 ml
Melon shade, 100 ml Pro size for fat-based recipes
Colour Mill Melon evokes a juicy slice of watermelon and an intense coral hue. This concentrated oil-based food coloring is designed for fat-based baking ingredients: melted white chocolate, ganache, buttercream, and fondant. The 100 ml bottle is intended for bakeries in regular production: for the same volume, it costs around 35% less per ml than the 20 ml bottle. It is often used for summer-evening event cupcakes and fun birthday layer cakes for teens and young adults.

Ingredients and allergens
Ingredients: Humectant: E422, vegetable oil (rapeseed), color: E129, emulsifiers: E322, E433.
Please note: The 100 ml size becomes worthwhile when making several colored batches per week; for occasional use or testing a shade, the 20 ml bottle is a better choice.
Warning: E129 may have adverse effects on activity and attention in children.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be used in water-based icing or royal icing?
No, this oil-based coloring is designed for fat-based mixtures. For royal icing, syrups, or water-based icing, use the water-based Colour Mill range.
How much should I use for a highly saturated shade?
Start with 5 to 10 drops per 250 g of mixture and adjust in increments of 2 to 3 drops until you reach the desired shade, allowing it to rest between additions.
Does the 100 ml bottle have a dropper?
Yes, the squeeze cap has a dropper opening: a gentle squeeze dispenses one precise drop.
