When in doubt, choose the slightly larger box. A cake tightly packed in its box experiences friction during transport that can damage the icing or peel off decorations. A cake with 2-3 cm of breathing room all around arrives intact. NEVER squeeze, even if the temptation of "just right" exists.

1/ Unfold the base into a square: fold the 4 vertical flaps upward, interlock them according to the pre-crease system. 2/ Check that the corners are sharp at 90°. 3/ Assemble the lid the same way. 4/ Test the vacuum closure before placing your cake.
