This board is 3 mm thick and stays discreet beneath the cake. A thicker base supports heavy cakes and tiered creations.
Is it suitable for direct contact with the cake?
The gold side is designed to hold the cake. For very moist preparations, place a suitable sheet between them.
What cake diameter should I choose?
Choose a board a few centimeters larger than the cake to leave a neat border. Here, 25 cm works for an 18 to 22 cm cake.
