LorAnn Oils - Super Strength Flavors

3.7 ml Super-Concentrated Chocolate Flavor

Ultra-concentrated chocolate flavoring that enhances cocoa without weighing down the texture.

LorAnn Super-Concentrated Chocolate Flavor is an ultra-concentrated food flavoring in a 3.7 ml bottle, from the Super Strength Flavors range (LorAnn Oils, United States). Useful for intensifying a chocolate note without adding cocoa powder or extra fat to the recipe.

180 °C
Baking-stable

Applications

  • Chocolate mousses and crémeux: enhances the cocoa flavor without changing the texture or fat content.
  • Intense chocolate layer cakes: intensifies ganaches and buttercreams between the cake layers.
  • Brownies and fudgy cakes: strengthens the chocolate character in an already cocoa-based batter.

Note
Increase gradually: 2 to 4 drops per 250 g of mixture (buttercream, ganache, ice cream), 4 to 6 drops per 500 g of baked batter. Taste after each addition; the flavor intensifies as it rests (use 25% less the day before for a preparation that rests overnight).

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace cocoa powder?

No, it enhances the perceived flavor but does not provide the texture or color of cocoa powder: use it alongside a recipe that is already chocolate-based.

Can it be used in tempered chocolate?

With caution: the flavoring is water-based, so incorporate it in very small quantities (1 to 2 drops per 100 g) to prevent the chocolate from seizing.

Does it pair well with coffee?

Yes, chocolate and coffee form the classic mocha pairing in baking, with each flavoring dosed separately.
