- Rolled-out fondant, gum paste, marzipan or chocolate to decorate a cake
- Cold porcelain, salt dough, air-dry clay or embossing powder for crafts

Tip: Roll out the paste to the desired thickness, place it on the veiner, press evenly to imprint the wood grain, then remove it carefully. Wash and dry the veiner before first use.

Is this veiner suitable for decorating the entire side of a cake?
On a small cake, a single 10 x 10 cm impression may be sufficient; for a larger cake, imprint several sheets of paste one after another, then join them edge to edge around the cake.
What thickness of paste should I use for a crisp wood effect?
Paste rolled out to between 2 and 3 mm thick captures the wood grain well while remaining flexible enough to conform to the cake's shape once applied.
