Sustainable development

Patissland is committed to a greener future
E-commerce deliveries have a carbon footprint.
That is why we support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air.
Together, the participating companies have:
- Removed thousands of tons of carbon from the atmosphere
- Ensured a carbon-neutral shipment for over ten million orders
Here is our approach: For each order received, we allocate a portion of our revenue to companies specialized in carbon capture. These funds are used by these companies to offset the carbon emitted by our deliveries. Excess funds are invested in research and development of new carbon capture technologies.
Let's get to know some of the companies that offset the emissions related to our shipments:
- Mast Reforestation combines proven forestry practices with innovative technologies to regenerate healthy, resilient forests adapted to climate change, which were lost due to fires. The services offered by Mast include seed collection, seedling cultivation, reforestation services, and financing based on high-quality carbon capture credits.
- Grassroots Carbon focuses on helping farmers change their land management practices to improve soil and ecosystem health. This approach allows capturing and storing more carbon in the soil.
We are committed to contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future by collaborating with these pioneering companies. By choosing our services, you also play a role in this essential initiative.

About Colissimo:
Patissland chooses a responsible delivery partner, the leading voluntary carbon offset actor in Europe, committed to reducing its ecological footprint by targeting 3 objectives: measuring, reducing CO2 emissions notably by optimizing deliveries, and offsetting residual emissions by supporting projects in France and worldwide.
Patissland is thus committed daily to more environmentally friendly activities and contributes to more responsible consumption.
Since 2012, Colissimo has ensured full carbon neutrality of its services through reduction actions and by offsetting all its CO2 emissions by financing carbon offset projects in several countries around the world. La Poste is among the leading companies with the most emblematic project portfolio, recognized by international standards (Gold Standard, VCS). Today, 2.4 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent are offset each year thanks to these projects.
These projects generate significant environmental and socio-economic benefits: carbon sequestration, preservation of resources and biodiversity, development of more environmentally friendly and job-creating production methods, improvement of living conditions for populations and working conditions.
This voluntary approach makes La Poste the first postal operator to ensure full carbon neutrality of its services, at no extra cost to its customers.
* Validated SBT trajectory : the Science Based Targets initiative promotes the adoption by companies of carbon strategies aligned with scientific knowledge aiming for a decarbonization level consistent with keeping the global average temperature rise below 2°C compared to pre-industrial levels.
