Rosé White is the perfect middle ground between Bright White and Pastel Pink: subtle enough to serve as a base, tinted enough to add character.

Instructions for use

  1. Knead the sugar paste 2-3 minutes by hand to soften it.
  2. Sprinkle the work surface with icing sugar to prevent the paste from sticking.
  3. Roll out with a rolling pin into a regular disc 4-5 mm thick (3 mm for fine decorations).
  4. Gently lift with the rolling pin or a wide spatula, place on the cake already covered with a thin layer of buttercream or ganache.
  5. Smooth by hand then with a sugar paste smoother, from the center to the edges.
  6. Cut excess with a pizza cutter or a smooth knife.
  7. Keep scraps under cling film for later reuse.

If the paste hardens Knead between hands for 2-3 minutes to rehydrate. Add 1 drop of water if necessary.

How to prevent sugar paste from cracking when covering?

Knead the paste for 2-3 minutes to soften. Roll out to 4-5 mm thickness. Smooth from the center to the edges without leaving air bubbles. If cracks appear, smooth with a finger and a drop of water.

Can this sugar paste be colored with food coloring?

Yes, add gel coloring while kneading. To intensify, add in small amounts. Warning: manual coloring will never give the same intensity as the original Fun Cakes shade.

How long does the paste last once the cake is covered?

2 to 3 days at room temperature (15-22 °C), protected from humidity and direct light. Do not refrigerate (the paste sweats and becomes sticky).

Difference between the 250g, 1kg, 5kg, and 12.5 kg sizes?

The 250g is a trial size (15-18 cm cake). The 1kg is the standard size for cake designers (22-25 cm cake). The 5kg is the pro size for workshops. The 12.5 kg is the large capacity size for schools and intensive production.
