Katy Sue - Silicone Mold
Panda
3D baby panda for animal-themed cakes and cupcakes
This silicone mold recreates a baby panda holding a bamboo stalk, with a high level of detail on the fur and facial features. The panda and stalk are molded in the same mold, then unmolded separately before assembly. It is suitable for decorating cakes for birthdays, baby showers, or family celebrations with an animal theme.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
Are the panda and bamboo stalk made in the same mold cavity?
Yes, both pieces are molded side by side in the same silicone mold: unmold them separately, then attach the stalk to the panda with a little water or edible glue, depending on the paste used.
Which paste gives the crispest fur detail?
Flower paste (gum paste), which is firmer than regular fondant, best reproduces the fine fur grooves and holds its shape after unmolding.
Can this mold be used for non-food crafts?
Yes, with cold porcelain, salt dough, or air-dry clay, provided you reserve the mold exclusively for this use to maintain food hygiene.
