Gelespessa from Sosa Ingredients is a 100% natural origin powdered thickener, obtained by fermentation of corn starch. It is perfectly suited for making coulis, sauces, purees and other liquid or semi-liquid preparations requiring a controlled and stable texture, hot or cold.


Technical features

  • Natural origin: maltodextrin + xanthan gum (E415)

  • Work hot or cold

  • Freezable – not thermoreversible

  • Use with aqueous liquids only

  • Recommended dosage: 6 to 15 g/kg


Instructions for use

  1. Mix the powder into your liquid preparation (juice, puree, broth, etc.).

  2. Work cold or hot depending on the recipe.

  3. Allow to thicken gradually until the desired texture is obtained.

  4. Product non-thermoreversible: once gelled, does not return to liquid state.
