Frequently asked questions
Is this orange oil-soluble coloring suitable for couverture chocolate?
Yes, this is precisely the main use of oil-soluble coloring: it disperses in fats such as chocolate, cocoa butter, or ganache, unlike water-soluble coloring.
Can this orange coloring be used in a water-based preparation such as a water icing?
Oil-soluble coloring is not designed for water-based preparations: it will not disperse properly in water and will leave visible grains; for these uses, water-soluble coloring is more suitable.
Does the orange coloring require a children's warning on the label?
As the detailed composition of this format is not fully provided by the supplier, check the ingredient list on the label received: colorings in this shade family are often subject to the regulatory warning regarding children's activity and attention when they are based on certain synthetic colorings.
