How many rods should be used per tier?
Use 3 to 4 rods arranged in an even circle for a medium-sized tier, and up to 5–6 for a very heavy tier, always with an intermediate cake drum.
Can they be cut to a shorter length?
Yes, the hollow design makes them easy to cut with kitchen scissors to adjust the rod to the exact height of the tier.
Are these rods reusable?
Yes. Unlike single-use wooden dowels, this food-grade plastic is dishwasher-safe and can be reused for multiple cakes.
