Meringue Powder 150g 🍥
👩🍳 Description: Meringue powder is the ideal ingredient for creating delicious meringues, sumptuous pavlovas, and creamy buttercreams. Ready to use, this magical powder only requires a little water and, for the more indulgent, a touch of sugar.
🍪 Meringue Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 120°C (100°C fan-assisted).
- Mix 14g of meringue powder with 125ml of water and 125g of fine sugar.
- Beat until a white foam forms.
- Gradually incorporate 250g of granulated sugar.
- Beat until stiff peaks form.
- Pipe onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and dry in the oven for 1h30.
- Let cool in the oven.
🍰 American Buttercream Preparation:
- Mix 190g of Crisco (available at Patissland), 35g of water, 450g of icing sugar, and 1 tablespoon of meringue powder.
- Add 40g of water and mix until smooth cream is obtained.
⚠️ Note: The consistency of this product is not suitable for royal icing.
