Do you need a special piping bag to use the double piping tip?
A dual-compartment piping bag makes it easier to keep the colors separate, but a regular piping bag filled with two colors side by side works too.
What kind of decoration does this piping tip create?
You can create two-tone rosettes or borders with crisp colors, or a softer marbled effect, depending on how the two colors are placed in the piping bag.
Can you use different mixtures in each opening, not just different colors?
In practice, both mixtures should have a similar consistency to pipe evenly; two flavors with the same texture (for example, two buttercreams) work, but two very different textures do not.
