Our ready-to-roll fondant collection brings together fondant sheets pre-rolled to a professional thickness of 3 mm. Calibrated diameters for standard cakes (25 cm, 30 cm, 36 cm, 40 cm), consistent quality, guaranteed smooth finish. Ideal for high-volume pastry chefs who want to skip the rolling step, or for home bakers who want professional results without prior experience.

Why choose rolled fondant

3 key benefits. Time savings: save 5 minutes per cake (no rolling out, no dusting with cornstarch). Consistent quality: calibrated to a thickness of 3 mm, with no more variation between cakes. Accessible to beginners: no need to master rolling-pin technique, just unroll and smooth. Ideal for occasional workshops that don’t have all the rolling equipment (large rolling pin, XXL board).

Available sizes

Standard sizes in stock. 25 cm diameter: for cakes up to 18 cm in diameter × 8 cm high. 30 cm diameter: for cakes 20-22 cm × 10 cm. 36 cm diameter: for cakes 22-25 cm × 12 cm. 40 cm diameter: for cakes 25-28 cm × 14 cm. For multi-tier wedding cakes: use several discs depending on the tier sizes.

Application method

Step 1: cover the cake with buttercream, smooth it, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Step 2: remove the protective film from the roll and place the sheet on the cake (centering is important). Step 3: smooth with a smoother from the center toward the edges, gradually pushing out the air. Step 4: cut the excess at the base with a cutter. Step 5: decorate (flowers, ribbons, designs). Total time: 5 minutes versus 15 minutes when rolling it out by hand.

Rolled fondant or classic fondant: what’s the price difference?
Rolled fondant costs 20-30% more per kilo than fondant in a bag (1 kg to 2.5 kg sizes). For occasional bakers: rolled fondant is cost-effective (less waste, less equipment). For high-volume professionals: classic fondant rolled out by hand is still more economical.
Can you color rolled fondant?
No, this is its main limitation: the sheet is already rolled and cannot be kneaded to incorporate coloring. Choose the desired color when purchasing (white, ivory, and pastels available). For custom colors: use classic fondant in a bag.
How should you store an opened roll?
If the sheet is partially used: put it back in its original packaging, seal tightly, and store flat at 18-22°C. Shelf life after opening: 15 days maximum. After that, the paste dries out at the edges and cracks when folded. For longer storage: choose classic fondant in a bag (keeps for 1 year).
Suitable for a multi-tier wedding cake?
Yes, it's actually the ideal use. Use several rolled fondant sheets, one for each tier. This ensures a consistent finish between tiers and saves considerable time (a 3-tier wedding cake can be covered in 15 minutes instead of 45 minutes with regular fondant). Allow 1 sheet per tier.
