Colour Mill Concrete Grey Fat-Soluble Food Coloring 100 ml
Concrete Grey shade, Pro 100 ml size for fat-based ingredients
Colour Mill Concrete Grey evokes smooth slate and a grey stormy sky. This concentrated fat-soluble food coloring is designed for fat-based baking ingredients: melted white chocolate, ganache, buttercream, and sugar paste. The 100 ml bottle is intended for bakeries with regular production: for the same volume, it costs about 35% less per ml than the 20 ml bottle. It naturally suits contemporary minimalist wedding cakes made in batches, urban-themed layer cakes, and architectural designs.

Instructions for use
Same dosage as the 20 ml size: 2 to 4 drops per 250 g for a pastel shade, up to 20 drops for a dark shade
Shake the bottle before use and mix into a warm mixture between 25 and 30 °C
For large quantities, dose proportionally to the weight of the mixture rather than by the number of drops
Do not use in a water-based mixture (royal icing, syrup): the Colour Mill water-soluble range is designed for this use
Yes, this is its primary use: it is formulated for fat-based mixtures (white chocolate, ganache, cocoa butter) and disperses without lumps in a warm, melted mixture.
How many drops for 250 g of mixture?
Use 2 to 4 drops for a pastel shade, 5 to 10 drops for a vivid shade, and up to 20 drops for a dark shade. It's best to add gradually.
Separation appears in the 100 ml bottle. Is this normal?
Yes, slight separation between the pigment and carrier liquid is normal after prolonged storage: shake for 10 seconds before each use.
