Colour Mill Forest is a concentrated oil-soluble colorant packaged in a 20 ml dropper bottle. Its oil-based formula blends directly into chocolate, cocoa butter, ganaches, and rich creams without causing the mixture to seize. The Forest shade produces a deep, matte pine green, darker than Emerald.

Please note: this colorant is oil-soluble and does not dissolve in water-based preparations (royal icing, syrup). Shake the bottle before use and add the color gradually: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense. Store away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed.

Yes, slight separation may occur while at rest: shake the bottle before each use to restore an even Forest shade.

Could this colorant stain hands or the work surface?

Like any concentrated colorant, Forest may slightly mark a porous surface or skin on direct contact. Work with gloves and quickly clean surfaces with hot, soapy water.

How many drops are needed to color 100 g of melted chocolate?

Start with 2 to 3 drops of Forest for 100 g of melted chocolate or cocoa butter, mix well, then add one drop at a time until you achieve the desired intensity.
