This water-based food coloring is designed for water-based baking mixtures: royal icing, water-based glazes, syrups, meringues, and macarons. This shade is especially popular for royal icing cookies, earthy-themed wedding cakes, and wedding anniversary cookies (10 to 15 years).

How to use
- Shake the bottle before use and mix into a base at room temperature (18 to 22 °C)
- Typical amount: 2 to 4 drops per 250 g for a pastel shade, up to 20 drops for a dark shade
- Mix, then let stand for 15 minutes before adjusting the shade if needed
- To color chocolate or ganache, use the oil-soluble Colour Mill range, not this water-soluble food coloring

Can this food coloring be used in melted chocolate?
No: this is a water-based, water-soluble food coloring. Water causes fat to seize in chocolate or ganache. For these mixtures, use the Colour Mill oil-soluble range.
Should I adjust the amount based on the quantity of mixture?
Yes, the recommended amount is for 250 g of mixture: proportionally double or triple the number of drops for larger quantities.
How should I store the 20 ml bottle after opening?
Close tightly after each use and store away from light at 15 to 22 °C. Use within 12 months to preserve the intensity of the pigments.
