Directions for use
- Shake the bottle before use and mix into a base at room temperature (18 to 22 °C)
- Typical dosage: 2 to 4 drops per 250 g for a pastel shade, up to 20 drops for a dark shade
- Mix, then leave to stand for 15 minutes before adjusting the shade if needed
- To color chocolate or ganache, use the Colour Mill oil-soluble range, not this water-soluble food coloring

Yes, this is its primary use: it is designed for water-based mixtures (royal icing, water icing, syrups, meringues, macarons) and dries without changing shade.
How many drops for 250 g of mixture?
Use 2 to 4 drops for a pastel shade, 5 to 10 drops for a bright shade, and up to 20 drops for a dark shade. It is best to add the color gradually.
There is separation in the 20 ml bottle. Is this normal?
Yes, slight separation between the pigment and carrier liquid is normal during prolonged storage: shake for 10 seconds before each use.
